YouGov polled 5,000 consumers a day during a recent 12-week period and culled responses from those who identified themselves as gay, lesbian or transgender (about 5.25% of a total of 300,000 consumers.) The result was a resounding win for Android, a brand that didn't even make the list last year, when YouTube took the top prize. Apple's iPhone was number eight on 2011's rankings. The complete list:
