The app was developed by mobile security firm Lookout, which partnered up with T-Mobile to launch the "exclusive service." The final price tag -- $715 million -- was revealed in a quarterly investment report, filed Wednesday. According to the filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Facebook added 11 million shares -- valued at $194 million -- for Instagram employees at the close of the deal in September. It turns out they're getting much of their material straight from kids' online accounts. A new study found that 88% of sexual or suggestive images -- taken and uploaded to social networks by children and young people themselves -- are ending up on porn websites. The Internet Watch Foundation spent 47 hours (over four weeks) monitoring sexually explicit images and videos uploaded to the Internet by children and young adults.
