With 25% of human-resources managers receiving 50 resumes per job listing, competition is fierce, according to an infographic developed by NowSourcing, an Internet-marketing services firm. Called "The Anatomy of a Great Resume," it dissects the components of a first-class CV. The infographic encourages job-seekers to concisely summarize work experience, emphasize accomplishments and include key words such as "problem solving," "leadership" and team building." They're also notorious for supporting whatever's going on in popular culture with themed sets. Case in point, the company has revealed that a new Star Wars X-wing starfighter set will be coming out in May. Rejoice! Probably the only unfortunate part is the cost, but if you're a real enthusiast that shouldn't stop you, should it? The set, officially titled 10240 -- Red Five X-wing Starfighter, will be available for $200. The Taiwan-based manufacturer has released a futuristic-looking prototype for what it hopes will be the world's first transparent smartphone. The product, which remains in its early stages, is made from Polytron's Polyvision Privacy Glass. The glass is opaque when powered off, but it appearance transforms when electricity is applied. According to Polytron's website, "the liquid crystal molecules line up, the incident light passes through, and Polyvision looks clear." System Shock 2, a space horror PC game, has been locked in weird copyright limbo for years, and is finally available for download on Good Old Games for $9.99. System Shock 2 was created by Ken Levine, and the BioShock series is considered its spiritual successor. The game has real scares, and also a compelling story that shouldn't be spoiled. The app not only keeps track of your appointments, but also pulls in relevant information for those appointments such as contact information for the people you're meeting with, and relevant emails and files. If you're traveling to your meeting, the app provides driving directions and helps you find parking, or lets you know if your flight is on time. Running late? The big controversy of the week stemmed from a New York Times review of the electric Tesla Model S which criticized the car's battery performance. The meteor that exploded over the Russian city of Chelyabinsk without warning Friday (Feb. 15), damaging hundreds of buildings and wounding more than 1,000 people, was caused by a space rock about 50 feet (15 meters) wide, researchers said.
