So This Is England Right Now...

As the southern U.S. deals with a major ice storm, the flood-ridden UK is facing an even stronger storm system. The NASA satellite image above shows just how intense this storm is storm as it forms a classic "comma" shape near the UK. The UK Met Office has issued its first "red warning" in more than a year, for winds of greater than 85 mph across northern England and Wales.

How does Mashable know what's going viral?
