Called the AirBurr, the bot is equipped with a unique "Active Recovery System," enabling it to withstand collisions, relaunch and continue flying. Researchers at EPFL, a Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, were inspired to create the AirBurr after observing the way insects move. "Even though they manage to avoid most obstacles, they still manage to fly into windows and fly into walls -- yet it's okay; they don't break," said project leader Adam Klaptocz. "They fall to the ground, they get back up again and they keep flying."… |

Evernote Resets All User Passwords After Security Breach Posted: 02 Mar 2013 01:12 PM PST
The note-taking service issued a statement on its site, saying that no stored user content or financial data was changed or lost, but that hackers gained personal information including usernames, passwords and email addresses. Though they were accessed, passwords stolen in the breach are protected by one-way encryption. The encryption makes it more difficult for hackers to crack the content, but Evernote users are still vulnerable. Users will be prompted to change their passwords the next time they log in, and the change affects all other Evernote apps. Th… More About: evernote, hack, hackers, security, Tech |

The working from home ban is arguably the biggest change yet. We asked our readers, "Do You Value Working From Home?" and the responses were widespread. While the majority strongly believe the option to work at home should not be eliminated, many backed Mayer's decision, siting year-long-losses as a good reason to shake things up.
