Now, we might soon have an almost entirely 3D-printed car in the Urbee 2. The hybrid car, created by engineer Jim Kor, is designed to be light, cheap, easy to reproduce and very efficient. It's made entirely of 3D-printed plastic parts, all except the engine and base chassis, which are metal. It has three wheels and can carry two passengers. The Wall Street Journal's Digits blog crunched the numbers and found that Mason's 7.1% stake in combined Class A and Class B shares left him with a nest egg in the hundreds of millions. The $228 million is also in addition to the $31 million the 32-year-old Mason made off the company prior to its IPO, Digits reports. The bad news: Mason was actually a billionaire when Groupon initially went public in November 2011, but the stock has fallen about 85%.
