The notice started spreading a few days after Facebook posted its new privacy guidelines, announcing it would let users comment on proposed changes to its governing documents, but not vote. The text of the notice starts as follows: "In response to the new Facebook guidelines I hereby declare that my copyright is attached to all of my personal details, illustrations, graphics, comics, paintings, photos and videos, etc. (as a result of the Berner Convention). The report doesn't offer many more details, except for a few tidbits we already know: the update will bring WP7 devices a new start screen, Bing-based lock screen and the ability to keep Wi-Fi alive on Nokia devices in suspend mode. | Samsung Galaxy Note II Sales Hit 5 Million Posted: 25 Nov 2012 11:43 PM PST Five million units of Samsung's Galaxy Note II have been sold worldwide, the company has announced. The milestone comes exactly two months after the device was launched globally, on September 26, 2012. It took approximately a month for Samsung to sell the first three million units, and sales are obviously still going strong after Samsung brought the device to the U.S. on October 24. The Galaxy Note II is a 5.5-inch smartphone/tablet hybrid with a stylus. It sports a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage (further expandable to 128GB via memory cards). Combining a traditional ink-jet printer and an "electrospinning machine," scientists can build implants made from synthetic and natural materials, science journal Biofabrication reported. The former ensures the implant is strong, while the latter promotes cell growth, researchers said. For the first time ever, Black Friday online sales topped $1 billion, proving that lining up outside brick and mortar retailers isn't the only way to jumpstart your holiday shopping. ComScore announced Sunday that online sales rose 22% from 2011, when cyber purchases totalled $816 million.
