McAfee, founder of the eponymous anti-virus software company McAfee, launched "The Hinterland," a blog detailing his experience hiding from authorities in Belize, on Saturday. He is the prime suspect in the murder of an American expat named Gregory Faull who was shot in his San Pedro Town home two weeks ago, Gizmodo reported. "I think that these estimates are baseless and very, very wrong. It is a outrageous number, but I'm not going to comment anything on a specific number. I believe we have a very, very happy settlement and a good ending," Chou said at a KDDI Corp product launch in Tokyo. A leaked Nokia slide references "Windows Phone 7.x, " which is set to arrive after the Windows Phone 7.8 refresh. | Gmail Gets Support for Cherokee, Raises Language Count to 57 Posted: 20 Nov 2012 12:31 AM PST Gmail is now available in 57 languages, and one of them is Cherokee, the only Southern Iroquoian language that's still spoken. While very few people speak Cherokee today, the update helps preserve the language, and encourages native speakers to use it in their everyday communication. To make this even easier, Google has added a Cherokee virtual keyboard to Gmail, just like it did with Google Web Search, which has supported Cherokee since last March. | Seqinetic ‘Sun’ Glasses Lets You Wear Daylight to Fight Winter Blues [VIDEO] Posted: 19 Nov 2012 11:57 PM PST While a quick getaway to sunny Mexico may cure your winter blues, one company has devised a cheaper and longer-term alternative to escape shorter, darker days. Seqinetic "sun" glasses, which includes six LEDs and a reflector, let users wear daylight. "The reflector bounces soft white 'daylight' around your eyes, but not directly into them, improving your mood," according to the company's Kickstarter page from last year. | Non-Secession White House Petitions Surge Posted: 19 Nov 2012 04:57 PM PST The White House's online petition site We the People has been inundated since president Obama's reelection with more petitions than at any time since its 2011 launch. About 37% of those 187 new petitions are from disenchanted Americans who want their state to secede from the union. Another 5% are from people criticizing or mocking the would-be secessionists. Nearly 58% of the new petitions are unrelated to secession, though. Those 108 petitions alone represent the second-largest crop of We the People petitions.
